Great Show!
Our kids gifted us these tickets for Father's Day and Mother's Day. They took care of the parking beforehand so that our visit to the city was hassle-free, as we are not frequent city-goers. A man guided us to park upon our arrival, and we presented him with our parking pass information, printed by our daughter, to indicate we had "garage" parking. He barely glanced at it before directing us to a parking lot about 2 blocks away from the Fox theater. Despite the slight inconvenience, our children had paid for "garage" parking, not "lot" parking, which cost $7 more. Refusing to settle for less, we circled the block and rejoined the line for garage parking, eventually gaining entry to the garage. It is imperative that these staff members validate your passes to ensure you receive what you paid for! The parking spaces in the garage were so snug that we struggled to find a suitable spot, despite driving a compact car. Just as we were about to leave, the car next to us nearly collided with ours, prompting me to shout out a warning to the driver who stopped just in time. The parking facilities should offer larger spaces and more garage options. The show we attended was highly entertaining and amusing! The opening act was particularly humorous as well. Although we found the show (Drain) to be a bit short given the price we paid, it covered a wide range of material, which must have been challenging to produce in the allotted time. The Fox Theater, a stunning venue, continues to enchant with its grandeur and history. It's heartwarming to witness Detroit's resurgence through events like this, and we look forward to more delightful evenings out in the city!
